Opening of the Rowicki passage way
On 6 June 2018 the revitalised Witold Rowicki Passage Way was opened in Warsaw. The passage way is located at the back of the reconstructed SEZAM Shopping House, at the corner of the Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska Streets.
The current owners of the structure have taken care that the Passage Way has modern and attractive form. On the building elevation the information plaque commemorating the Patron was unveiled. Its look reflects the position that Witold Rowicki has earned in Poland and in the world. Design of the plaque was entrusted to Andrzej Pągowski, one of the most famous Polish graphic designers and poster artists.
On the opening day the co-owners of the building and also the present director of the Warsaw Philharmonic promised the numerous assembled audience that the renovated Passage Way will be used also as a venue for open-air concerts.
